🔦 Evening Spotlighting Walk: 6:00pm - 8:00pm at Sir Joseph Banks Park, Botany (meeting at the gazebo near the carpark at the end of Tupia Street). Conservation Volunteers Australia are hosting a wildlife walk through SJB Park. No experience is necessary to join in - and it’s a great activity for kids. 🌱 Bushcare at Binnamittalong Gardens: 9:00am-12:00pm at Binnamittalong Gardens, Bexley (the group meets at the end of Veron Road). Bushcare is a chance to meet likeminded people and get outdoors while looking after our local environment. Learn more and register.

✈️ History Talk - Pioneering Flights over Botany Bay: From 2:00pm at Level 3 of Rockdale Library, 444/446 Princes Highway, Rockdale. Speaker Hugh Tranter revisits the stories of Percival and Herbert Woodward, and Joseph Joel Hammond, the ‘magnificent men in their flying machines'. 🏋️ Get Active Day: Council is running free personal training sessions from 8:00am - 10:30am at the outdoor gyms in Cook Park, Ramsgate and Rowland Park, Daceyville. The coaching and training sessions are free for all ages and will help show you how to use our outdoor gyms for the best fitness results. Get tickets.

🥦 The Bay Community Garden Working Bee: 10:00am - 12:00pm at Lance Studdert Reserve, 102 Bestic Street, Kyeemagh. The group is holding an open working bee for anyone who would like to give gardening a go with members Chris and Miri. Activities will include mulching, adding soil to beds, planting broccoli, weeding and anything else that needs attention around the garden. Join for as little or as long as you like. 👶🏼 Eastlakes Supported Playgroup: 10:00am - 11:00am at Eastlakes Public School, 7 Florence Avenue, Eastlakes. The SECC hosts unstructured and structured play activities that develop children's social, emotional and cognitive skills. All of the SECC’s supported playgroups offer developmental monitoring called Learn the Signs Act Early (LTSAE). All staff are trained in this and have a background in children’s development.
