🍺 Friday Happy Hour-ish: Five buck schooners from 4:30pm - 6:00pm every Friday at One Drop Brewing, 5 Erith Street, Botany. Meat tray raffle drawn at 6:00pm. Every month, One Drop donates the raffle proceeds to a different charity. Book a table.

🧁 Ramsgate Food Markets: 8:00am - 2:00pm at Ramsgate Public School, Chuter Avenue, Ramsgate Beach. Around 60 stallholders sell everything from brownies to lamb rolls to organic produce. Parking is plentiful in the surrounding streets and everyone’s welcome with the exception of four-legged friends, who can’t enter because of the school’s regulations.

🌳 Bushcare at Stotts Reserve: 9:00am - 12:00pm at Stotts Reserve, Bardwell Park (the group meets at 156 Kingsland Road North, Bexley North). Bushcare is a chance to meet likeminded people and get some exercise while looking after the local environment. Learn more and register here.

🎨 Rolled Paper Sculpture Workshop: 2:00pm - 4:00pm at Art Atrium, 12 Daniel Street, Botany (entrance on Daphne Street at corner of Daniel Street). The workshop costs $60 including all materials. More info.

🍺 Belgian Beer Month: Slow Lane Brewing has designated July as Belgian Beer Month, coinciding with Belgium National Day on 23 July. They will be pouring nine Belgian-style beers on tap including their latest limited releases. They’re also serving Belgian ‘Brussels style’ waffles using house-made fermented waffle batter made in the traditional Belgian style. More info.

🥊 Murphy vs Culibao: Botany boy Joshua Culibao fights on the main card in the UFC in London at around 5:00am Sunday AEDT. Watch on UFC Fight Pass. A win against Englishman Lerone Murphy will get him into the Top 15 featherweights in the UFC.

📜 Free study space for Year 12 students: 10:00am - 3:30pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at Arncliffe Youth Centre, 8 Townsend Lane, Arncliffe. Study spaces will be available for Year 12 students, living or studying in Bayside, for the HSC trials starting Monday 31 July through to Monday 14 August. Free wi-fi, snacks, and parking available. Storytime is tailored to pre-schoolers aged 3 to 5 years old and centres on reading books to children to further develop their language and pre-reading skills, while teaching them to sit quietly and listen with other children in a group. This session runs for 40-45 minutes and includes a fun craft activity to finish! Book here.

ℹ️ Go4Fun Program: 4:00pm - 6:00pm at Daceyville PCYC, 26A Bunnerong Road, Daceyville. This is the first session of a free program in NSW for children aged 7-13 years who are above a healthy weight, and their families. The program helps to build self-esteem and provides information on eating well, staying active and living a healthy life. Weekly sessions take place during the school term, after school.
