🧭 School Holidays @ Mascot Library - Young Explorers History Club: 10:30am - 11:30am at Mascot Library, 2 Hatfield Street, Mascot. To complement the “Swimming in Botany and the Bay” exhibition currently on display at Mascot Library, this one-hour program will have some fun hands-on activities for kids to take part in all about the history of swimming in our area, including a “design your own pool” artwork. ♻️ Recycling Drop-Off Event: 8:00am - 3:00pm at Bayside Council Botany Depot, Pemberton Street, Botany. Keep the wheels of the circular economy turning by dropping off your e-waste, metals, whitegoods, mattresses, garden waste, X-ray films, light globes and old bikes. The depot is only open to Bayside residents during these regular events and only for materials advertised as accepted items. Learn more.

🎨 Earth Wind Water & Human Activities Art Exhibition: 2:30pm - 4:30pm at Art Atrium, 12 Daniel Street, Botany (entrance on Daphne Street at corner of Daniel Street). 📘 Storytime @ Rockdale Library: 10:30am - 11:30am at Rockdale Library Level 3, 444-446 Princes Highway, Rockdale. Storytime is tailored to pre-schoolers aged 3 to 5 years old and centres on reading books to children to further develop their language and pre-reading skills, while teaching them to sit quietly and listen with other children in a group. This session runs for 40-45 minutes and includes a fun craft activity to finish! Book here.

ℹ️ Go4Fun Program: 4:00pm - 6:00pm at Daceyville PCYC, 26A Bunnerong Road, Daceyville. This is the first session of a free program in NSW for children aged 7-13 years who are above a healthy weight, and their families. The program helps to build self-esteem and provides information on eating well, staying active and living a healthy life. Weekly sessions take place during the school term, after school.

This is the first session of a 5-week therapeutic art program where you'll explore different art mediums including drawing, painting, clay, collage and nature art. From 5-6pm there will be snacks and drink available, time to view the exhibition, vote for the People's Choice award, weave with Peta Joy Williams, and create a Lego masterpiece!
