Prince of Wales Hospital Adult Intensive Care Unit relocated
If you are visiting loved ones in the Adult Intensive Care Unit at Prince of Wales Hospital, note that the unit will be moving to the new Acute Services Building.

The Adult Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Prince of Wales Hospital will change, effective from Tuesday, June 6th.
The ICU will now be situated on Level 3 of the new Acute Services Building, located at 77 Botany Street, Randwick, opposite UNSW.
The new hospital building can also be accessed from the existing buildings at the Randwick Hospitals Campus via an internal link bridge on Level 0, adjacent to the Royal Hospital for Women.
The closest parking is in the main campus car park (Point Parking), accessible from Easy Street via Barker Street.

Other hospital services have already relocated to the new building, including the Emergency Department (ED), respiratory and infectious diseases, haematology, oncology and orthopaedics.

According to the South Eastern Sydney Local Health District, the 13-storey Acute Services Building is a major upgrade of essential adult health services at Prince of Wales Hospital:
The Acute Services Building includes a new and expanded Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, digital operating theatres and five levels of inpatient units with additional beds.
The new hospital building features state-of-the-art medical equipment and has been designed with input from hospital staff and consumers to ensure it meets the health needs of the growing community, now and into the future.
