Meet Nicola, from Baked by Nicola

What do you do? Hi everyone, my name is Nicola. I’m a 21 year old uni student and I have been baking for as long as I can remember. I started out as a little kid selling treats for $1 in the park by my house and have turned my passion into a small business that I hope to grow. At the moment, I’m baking brownies, cupcakes and cookies for our wonderful community.

How long have you been in Bayside? I’ve lived in Botany for over 10 years and have been officially running Baked by Nicola since 2021.

What's your favourite spot in Bayside? Probably Sir Joseph Banks Park by the pond where all the ducks and geese hang out, especially since they’ve added that beautiful playground. Or Anytime Fitness where I work off all the brownies I eat while I bake 😅

Where can people place their orders? People can get in touch through Instagram @bakedbynicola.syd or my Facebook page. I’m currently taking orders for Easter treats like loaded brownies, cookies and Maltese figolli (traditional Easter biscuit).
